Hi, I have a couple of current get Apple TV’s but I want to use an older 3rd gen in the office, solely for airplay from my MacBook Pro. Everything works fine, connects straight to network, signs into iCloud and iTunes purchases, but for some strange reason when I go to settings/about it says that activation has failed, this in turns makes the one thing I want it for, airplay, not work.
