Used a battery booster, and it started fine. The battery is fully charged as I use a trickle charger. I'm not sure if this is a coincidence but it started fine everytime the booster was used. Putting out 13v when revving. Rode 5 minutes today everything seemed to run fine. Basically, it starts fine when cold but after - Answered by a verified Motorcycle Mechanic I bought a 2007 triumph speed triple not running. Problems led my to thinking it needs a new stator after each phase read 0.00 ohms so I put a new one in and that didn't work. Therewas a problem with gear selector failure on early Tiger 800 models and a few other Triumph models. I experienced it on my 2012 Tiger 800 XC while I was on a trip. I was able to downshift by lifing up on the lever and then downshift to the next lower gear. A bit of pain,; but it didn't leave me stranded. Triumph has a kt to repair it. DjRC7X.
